CANCELLATION POLICY:
Your appointment is very important to the team members of Kume Spa, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations will be subject to a fee of 50% of your scheduled treatment.
COVID-19 is a foreseen event and we require proof of a positive result 24 hours prior to your appointment to receive any sort of refund or make changes.
Missed Appointments or “No-Shows” will be charged the full amount of the original service booked. Late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
APPOINTMENT BOOKING
Kume Spa always welcomes any and all walk-ins upon availability.
To secure your requested spa time and treatments, we recommend you schedule an appointment in advance due to the popularity of the services. Credit card details are required for booking.
If you will be attending the spa with a voucher, it is a good idea to mention it so that the spa can advise you of any policy that may affect its use.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE DISCLAIMER
Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique designed to release muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Because this treatment involves firm pressure and targeted manipulation of deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, temporary discomfort, soreness, or bruising may occur as part of the normal healing process.
By receiving this treatment, you acknowledge and understand the following:
Deep pressure may cause mild to moderate bruising, especially in areas with significant tension, sensitivity, or prior injury.
Bruising typically resolves within several days and does not necessarily indicate improper technique.
You agree to communicate any discomfort during the session so your therapist can adjust pressure accordingly.
If you have a condition that may increase your risk of bruising (such as blood-thinning medications, anemia, or certain medical conditions), you agree to inform your therapist before treatment.
Results and reactions vary from person to person.
By proceeding with the service, you consent to receive deep tissue work and acknowledge the possibility of post-treatment bruising.
